Classical technique and proper repertoire, with the weight of a real key under the finger. Built for students working toward a graded exam.
Acoustic or electric. First chords, then a whole song, then holding your own part steady while four other people play theirs.
Rudiments, timing, groove. Taught so that a beginner can sit in with the academy orchestra within the year.
The written half of a grade, taught alongside the playing — so the paper is never the thing standing between a student and the next certificate.

Ankeet founded Medley in 2014 and still teaches most of its students himself. Ask a parent what makes it work and the answer comes back in two words: patience, and the knack of leaving a child wanting the next lesson.
Playing for people is treated as part of the training rather than a prize for finishing it. Students are put in front of an audience early — school concerts, competitions, the academy orchestra and its rockfest.
